Green Energy

Because the people demanded it: Alan Scott the Green Lantern.
And, because Ron demanded it, he's in his puffy pirate shirt.

Have a good weekend folks!

These are fantastic.

Here's hoping that DC taps you for a monthly superhero book SOON. Alan Scott has never looked so cool.

Glad you liked the drawings Dan and...Anonymous'(hi dad)!

Dan, I gotta chance to check out your blog and I really dig your stuff. I went ahead and put your blog in my sidebar. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

HOLY HELL THIS IS EPIC! If you could make prints of this it would be so great, I wonder if it would be ok to see if a Tattoo artist friend of mine would be able to capture these colors, because if so I would think this would be perfect for my first tattoo.

Thanks for the kind words, Brian. Funny thing-- I added your blog to my sidebar the other day as well, right after I saw that great Electro drawing.

Can't wait to see more!

Anton--more power to you if you want to get a tattoo of this! Hopefully, your skin is alabaster white--that's what really makes the colors pop the way they do. I'm glad you like the piece enough you'd even consider it!

Andy--thanks for the kind words. I would love to do a DC superhero book, in this style, that was set somewhere between the 30's and the early 50's. That'd be a real blast!

i'd buy the shit out of that book.
